Why your teenager would benefit from life coaching
As a parent, you may be wondering if your teenager would benefit from working with a life coach. I mean, we usually think of life coaching as just for adults, but it can be just as helpful for teenagers.
After my career as a licensed mental health professional, being a parent, & guiding many a teenagers, I’ve found how helpful that extra (third-party) guidance can be for our teenagers.
Here are just 5 reasons why having a life coach could help your teenager:
1) Provide support and guidance during times of transition .
2) Help with goal setting and time management skills. Whether college-planning, career-planning, pursuing their passions, or maintaining emotional/physical/spiritual/mental well-being, a life coach can help them get to their goals.
3) Assist with uncovering strengths and interests. Our teenagers and young adults can feel stuck and unsure of their direction. A life coach can help them discover what paths they want to take in life
4) Help promote positive thinking and healthy coping mechanisms to maturely & confidently handle life circumstances
5) Offer an unbiased, outside perspective for all of their modern young adulthood challenges and opportunities
If you feel like your teenager could benefit from any of the above, then consider looking into finding them a life coach! It could be one of the best decisions you ever make for them.
